Dr Previte grew up south of Cairns and completed a Bachelor of Psychology at James Cook University, followed by a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Wollongong. She commenced work as a Junior Doctor in Sydney’s Liverpool Hospital network in 2015, where she completed rotations including General Medicine, General Surgery, Geriatrics, Oncology, Paediatrics, Emergency Medicine and others. She trained in General Practice in various areas of Sydney, commencing at Specialist Medical Services Group’s (SMSG) Earlwood Medical Centre clinic as a Senior Registrar in 2018. She completed her GP speciality training in 2020, gaining fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has remained at Earlwood Medical Centre as a Specialist General Practitioner since then. In 2019 she was awarded Senior Registrar of the Year and in 2021 Doctor of the Year by SMSG. In 2024 she has completed a Graduate Diploma in Child Health via Western Sydney University. She brings a broad experience from her pre-medical working life, including that gained from roles within the Australian Public Service and Eating Disorders Foundation of Victoria.
Dr Previte appreciates the privileged role a GP has in the lives of patients and their families, and feels honoured each time she is entrusted with a patient’s health concerns. She loves being a GP and seeing patients through the many different stages and challenges of life. She enjoys the dynamic nature of General Practice and the way that each day is different from the previous one.
Dr Previte consults at Earlwood Medical Centre within a group of doctors including other Specialist GPs and various non-GP Specialists from a range of medical disciplines. Together they collaborate to provide care of the highest quality to the community, with a focus on clinical excellence and patient safety. Allied Health, Radiology and Pathology services are also available on site at Earlwood Medical Centre. She welcomes contact from her colleagues at any time and is happy to be contacted via Earlwood Medical Centre if any discussions are required.
Outside of work, Dr Previte loves to visit the native gardens of Sydney and its surrounds, catch live music at venues big and small, and spend time with her two young children and husband.
